Hi, I'm Kat!
Here's a little more about me. I’m 25 years old, a self-taught photographer, cat-mom, thrifter, plant lover, music and movie enthusiast, wife, and mother.
I am originally from upstate New York and have traveled to many places before establishing myself in New York City. Another thing that I love, is to travel, explore new places, and find cool coffee shops. I am so excited to take this journey together and make your photography vision happen!
I am following my passions and enjoying every minute of it. I look forward to collaborating with you to create memories and capture moments for you to remember.
my story
Growing up, I had always enjoyed taking photos of people and nature. It was a little hobby of mine from a young age. I began taking photos on my disposable camera and then later on a small digital camera... just for fun! This developed into mini photo shoots with friends in high school and even later in college. Being creative and tapping into my "artsy" side was and is still my favorite!
Then later in college, I decided I wanted to get a "real" camera, one that I knew could capture good quality photos, in hopes to pursue my little dream (which was just beginning at that time). I was able to bring it to India with me a few days after I got it! While there, I literally enjoyed taking photos of everything, which made my passion for photography grow deeper. Ever since then, there have been instances where I have volunteered or was asked to take photos for someone, and I cannot describe the joy I feel in seeing the smiles and being a part of their special moments!
I think that I would have pursued photography sooner, but I did not feel confident in doing it as a career before, since my focus has always been on teaching early childhood/childhood education. However, after covid and becoming a mother, in short, I feel more comfortable with tapping into my creative side and pursuing my passion of photography that I have loved for so many years!
I am a wife & mother
Photography is one of my favorite things to do, along with being a mother and a wife, I love that I am able to grow this passion into a business! I cherish family and motherhood dearly, so I value wanting to capture the fleeting moments with your loved ones. I will always make it my goal to reach you as soon as possible, however, if my response time is not right away, I will reach out to you within 2-3 business days (if not sooner). I hope you can understand!
Photography brings me so much joy and is something that I truly love doing! I am here for all the smiles, laughs, and emotions. I hope you feel comfortable being yourself with me as we capture all the special moments!
